ClubPal v3.1.605.2040

· 3 min read

Latest release of ClubPal, adding Facility Hire in preview, expanded eligibility rules, linked profile improvements, member qualifications, and discount code archiving.

New features

Facility hire preview

You can now offer online booking for club facilities such as courts, halls, rooms, and pitches.

Members can browse available facilities, choose a date, select a time and duration, and pay online to confirm a booking.

Admins can:

  • Create and manage facilities
  • Configure availability windows and pricing
  • Manage bookings and cancellations
  • Use blockouts to prevent bookings during closures or reserved periods

Facility Hire is currently a preview feature. Contact the ClubPal team if you want it enabled for your club.

Eligibility rules across more item types

Eligibility rules are no longer limited to membership packages.

You can now use eligibility rules across passes, store products, and sessions, so you can control who can buy or book each item.

This release adds support for rules such as:

  • Age range
  • Gender
  • Profile field values
  • Active membership requirements
  • Member groups
  • Required discount codes on supported item types
  • Required qualifications on sessions

Members now see an Eligibility requirements summary before they try to book or purchase, and ClubPal blocks checkout when they do not meet the configured rules.

Linked profiles improvements

Members can now stop managing a linked profile themselves, without administrator involvement.

From Account > Managed Profiles, clicking Stop managing next to a profile removes the link immediately. Both the managing member and the linked member receive an email notification, and if the linked member had no other managers their managed status is cleared automatically.

Member qualifications

Administrators and committee members can now record qualifications against member profiles.

Qualifications cover certifications, coaching badges, first aid awards, safeguarding certificates, and other credentials relevant to the club.

Recorded qualifications can also be used in session eligibility rules, so you can restrict a session to members who hold one or more selected qualifications.

Discount code archiving

Discount codes can now be archived instead of deleted.

An archived code is immediately deactivated and cannot be redeemed, but it is preserved for reporting and audit purposes. Admins can archive a code from its details page and restore it at any time using the Unarchive action.

Order status on the member portal

The My Orders and individual order pages in the member portal now show the current status of each order at a glance. This makes it easier for members to understand whether an order is pending, complete, or refunded.

Fixes and improvements

  • Fixed a bug where duplicating a store product did not copy the product image. The product copy now clones the image correctly.
  • Fixed discount code archive badge visibility.
  • Fixed capacity update issues and added regression coverage.
