ClubPal v3.1.636.659
Organize your profile fields into groups, add two new field types, and get clearer recipient counts when composing emails to Smart Groups.
New features
Profile field groups
Profile fields can now be organized into named groups that appear as visual sections on member profile pages and forms. Use groups to keep related fields together and make profiles easier to navigate.
Go to Admin > Membership > Profile fields to:
- Add new groups with a name and optional description
- Reorder groups using up/down arrows
- Move fields between groups by dragging and dropping
- Delete groups (fields are moved to another group before deletion)
Checkbox field type
Use the new Checkbox field type for yes/no questions and single toggles. Ideal for consent flags, opt-ins, and binary choices. For example, "I agree to the club rules" or "Newsletter opt-in".
MultiSelect field type
The new MultiSelect field type lets members choose one or more options from a list you provide. Perfect for use cases like preferred training days or available roles. In member exports, MultiSelect values are properly formatted as a quoted comma-separated list.
Improvements
Emails — recipient count
The Compose page now shows exactly how many members will receive your email before you send it. The count is displayed as X of Y members selected, where Y is the total membership of the selected groups and X is the reachable subset after filtering out members with email disabled, no email address on file, and duplicate addresses.
For Newsletter type emails, members who have opted out of contact are also excluded, with the opted-out count shown separately alongside the main recipient figure.
The count updates automatically whenever you change the To field or switch the email type, giving you a clear picture of your actual audience — especially useful when sending to Smart Groups such as Active Members, where the group size and the deliverable count can differ.
Fixes and improvements
- Profile field values are now included in the CSV/Excel member export (Admin > Membership > Members).
- MultiSelect values in exports are properly escaped as quoted comma-separated strings for easy spreadsheet processing.
- Admin UI for Profile Fields was redesigned for better organization with field groups displayed as visual sections.
