Membership overview

The Membership feature gives you a complete set of tools for managing your club's members, from sign-up and renewal through to reporting and communication.

Features at a glance​

  • Membership packages - Create as many packages as your club needs, with flexible pricing including pro rata, fixed dates, and family/joint options. Hidden packages can be shared via a direct link for invitation-only categories such as honorary membership.
  • Eligibility rules - Restrict who can buy a package by age, gender, or custom profile field values.
  • Automatic renewals - Members can opt in to automatic renewal so their membership renews without any manual intervention.
  • Expiry reminders - Configurable email reminders are sent before a membership expires or auto-renews.
  • Member groups - Assign members to custom groups for targeted emails and session access control.
  • Linked profiles - Allow one account to manage multiple profiles, useful for family memberships or parents managing children.
  • Profile fields - Collect custom information from members at registration or on their profile page.
  • Member import - Bulk import members from a CSV file.
  • Membership status - Track members across guest, trial, active, lapsed, and expired states.
Payment provider configuration

You must configure a payment provider before online payments for membership can be taken. See the Payments documentation for details.

A member can only be assigned to one membership package at a time.
