Ad hoc payments
Ad hoc payments allow members to make a one-off payment for any reason, without it being tied to a session booking, membership purchase, or store order. This is useful for collecting money for things like:
- Club kit or equipment not listed in the Store
- A one-off event fee or trip deposit
- Governing body affiliation fees
- Any other ad hoc charge you want to collect quickly
To enable this feature, go to Admin > Settings > Payments and turn on Allow Ad Hoc Payments.
When enabled, a Make a Payment option is added to the site menu. Members visiting this page can enter a description or reason for the payment and the amount to pay. They are then taken to the payment screen to complete the payment by card. Once paid, the member receives a payment receipt by email.

Ad hoc payments require a payment provider to be connected. If no provider is configured, this option will not appear even when enabled.
