Products

You can add Products to your site that can be made available for purchase either directly from the Store, or purchased along with a Membership Package.

When editing a product, you can set if the product will appear in the store by enabling Show In Store option. Products can be purchased as part of their membership by editing a Membership Package and selecting the available products under the Available Products option.

Product Properties​

Below are the properties you can set for a product:

Name The name of the product.

Description A description of the product.

Price The price of the item.

Category Set the categories for this item. Allows products to be filtered in the store by category. Also used for reporting sales by category.

Maximum Order Quantity If there is a limit on the number that can be purchased, enter it here. Set to 0 for no limit.

Show In Store Sets if the product will be shown in the Store. Otherwise, the product will only be available by direct URL.

Members Only When set, an active membership is required to purchase this item.

Product Image You can upload an image of the product which will be used for the store.

Available Start Date When set, the product will only be available for purchase from this date.

Available End Date When set, the product will only be available for purchase until this date.

Track Inventory Sets if inventory will be tracked for this product. Possible options are:

  • None - the product will not track inventory.
  • By Product - inventory will be tracked at the product level. When the stock level reaches 0, purchase of this item or its variations will not be possible.
  • By Variation - stock will be tracked at the individual variation level. Only items with stock, or where stock is not set will be available for purchase.

Variations If there are different variations of a products e.g. size or colour, enter them here. When purchasing an item a user can select the variation they want. When Track Inventory is set to By Variation, you will also be able to set the stock level for each variation. When not set, it will be treated as infinite stock.
