Use your own web address

By default, your ClubPal site lives at an address like yourclub.clubpal.app. If you'd prefer your members to visit something like www.yourclub.com or bookings.yourclub.com, you can connect your own domain name for a small annual fee.

Using your own domain gives your club a more professional and memorable web address, and keeps your branding consistent across your site, emails, and any printed materials.

Pricing

Custom domain support costs £25/year and includes a full SSL certificate to ensure all traffic on your domain is encrypted and secure.

To add a custom domain to your site, get in touch with us and we'll walk you through the process. We'll configure everything on the ClubPal side; you'll just need someone who manages your domain to complete the DNS steps below.

DNS records

To point your domain at ClubPal, you need to update two DNS records. Your domain registrar or web host will be able to help if you're not sure how to do this.

  1. Create a TXT record at asuid.(subdomain) (e.g. asuid.www) with the following value:
    13C8AF432584A86722B06938BD71783EE72AC067884DCF687E45DDC54D7C2640
  2. Create a CNAME record for the subdomain you want to use (e.g. www), pointing to:
    clubpalapp.azurewebsites.net

Once the DNS records have been updated and propagated, we'll verify the domain and enable it for your site.
